Establishment of an Aquaculture Network in Bangladesh under the Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP)

The project is split into two key phases:

• Phase 1 – Planning, Network Development, Baseline Assessment and Prioritisation

• Phase 2 – Planning, Knowledge Exchange & Capacity Building and Network Resilience

The key timeframes associated with each of the Phases is as follows:

• Phase 1 – November 2024 to March 2025

• Phase 2a – April to May 2025: Planning for Phase 2

• Phase 2b – June 2025 to March 2026: Implementation of agreed plan

In line with the phased project approach, the scope of services will be developed in successive

stages. The list presented below therefore sets out the key tasks for the current phase of activity

(Phase 1). Inputs required for Phase 2 will be determined and agreed in due course.

i. Support on the baseline assessments through agreed case studies, including:

a. case study identification, design and planning by 20 December 2024

b. reporting including identification of needs and opportunities by 28 February 2025

ii. Attendance at an in person 2 day workshop in Dhaka to review the findings of the baseline

assessment and identify priority needs and opportunities – tentatively 25-26 February 2025.

iii. Attendance of an online network workshop – timing to be confirmed but tentatively mid to

late January
