Ammonia (NH3) is an important component that can rapidly deteriorate water quality and adversely affect aquaculture production. NH3 imposes catastrophic consequences on the cellular, physiological, biochemical and genetic (all biological) aspects of fishes. This thesis investigated different doses of NH3 on the biological aspects of Rohu (Labeo rohita) including: cellular ultra-structure, physiological (growth, O2 consumption) alterations and biochemical changes (different blood components).
