Antibiotic Sensitivity of Vibrio spp. Isolated from Egg of Mud Crab (Scylla olivacea) Collected from Hatchery

This study presents the antibiotic sensitivity of Vibrio spp. isolated from egg of Mud crab (Scylla olivacea) collected from hatchery in Satkhira, Bangladesh. All the Vibrio isolates were intermediate to oxytetracycilin. Wide range of oxytetracycilin use results in such susceptibility. Among the six isolates of Vibrio species, four isolates displayed muti-drug resistance (MDR).
