About Discipline

Business Administration Discipline (BAD) is the first Discipline of Management and Business Administration School at present. The Discipline started its journey in 1991 with 80 students. The discipline duly deserves the credit for introducing four-yearly business graduation program for the first time in the country. Currently the discipline offers bachelor’s (130 credits) and master’s (60 credits) degrees, Evening MBA, Executive MBA in business administration. The academic year is semester-based. The discipline also offers various short courses related to business field. The discipline is devoted to advanced, promulgated, and patronized formal business education, training, and research. It is performing a unique role in the national scenario by providing the business community with befitting business executives, talents, intellectuals, and business leaders. Since the inception in 1991, around 500 students have graduated from this Discipline.

Professor Dr. Md. Nur Alam

The Bachelor of Business Administration is one of the top educational and research programs and facilities in Khulna University which is well prepared and well-maintained. We have a truly outstanding faculty, including highly established leaders and emerging ‘stars’, who are also committed teachers and advisors. A good percentage of our teachers are involved in research and development projects of national and international importance as expert consultants, ensuring our students achieve a wide range of ‘real-world’ education. Our programs provided foundation on a in-depth basis for fundamental and advanced studies of four majors area such as finance, marketing, accounting, and Human Resource Management with degrees at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. We work hard to be the best and our survey of our alumni and their employers ensures their extremely high satisfaction.The department’s undergraduate students are very active, constantly reaching out to national and international competitions, winning top positions almost every time.
