I am currently working as a Professor of Agrotechnology Discipline of Khulna University in Bangladesh. I obtained my PhD degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh majoring "Meat Science". I studied MS in Animal Science in Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh . I obtained BSc AH from the same university. I completed my HSC in Notre Dame College, Dhaka and also completed SSC in Town Sripur S. C. High School, Debhata, Satkhira.

My current research are on meat technology, evaluation and grading of meat of indigenous beef cattle, food technology, forage production in stressed condition e.g. saline and waterlogged condition and its impacts on meat production.
