Study on vulnerability of human health due to salinity in coastal area of Bangladesh

This study aims to investigate the link between drinking water salinity and associated health crises in coastal Bangladesh. In addition, we further assess two critical factors in future public health provisioning and water resources management: ground water salinity and population vulnerability.

Specific objectives:

1. To assess the magnitude of vulnerability of the coastal people against drinking and daily-use water salinity.
2. To find out the numerous number of visible impacts of drinking and daily-use water salinity in coastal area.
3. To describe the present socioeconomic situation of the coastal urban and rural people.
4. To ascertain the relationship between the socioeconomic characteristics of the coastal people with the impacts of drinking and daily-use water salinity.
