Revitalization of Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability in the Polders of Coastal Areas of Khulna

The research questions of this proposed study are: (i) What is the present situation of polders in respect of agricultural productivity (survey/case study) and how to improve the polder situation? (ii) How to increase the crop production potential of the polder areas (field experimentation) in a sustainable and profitable way?
Objectives of the study

o   To analyze the present situation of polders in the southern districts

o   To identify the key indicators and drivers for degradation of polders

o   To revitalize the agricultural productivity of degraded polders for livelihood improvement in the areas
