Md. Toukir Hossain is a Lecturer at Khulna University’s Architecture Discipline.Toukir completed his Bachelor of Architecture from Khulna University and pursuing his Master’s degree. His research interests center on architecture of climate change, heritage preservation, human settlement, history and the relationship between architecture and digital world,
Fascinated by research, Toukir has contributed to projects on heritage preservation, climate impacts on historic cities, and urban livability. He is particularly skilled in 3D documentation of cultural heritage, having participated in CyArk’s RED program for UNESCO World Heritage in Bangladesh. His work has been recognized through multiple design competitions at national and international levels.
Looking ahead, he hopes to represent Bangladesh globally through knowledge contribution and responsible architectural practice that is impactful for both people and the planet.
