Ahasan joined Khulna University as a Lecturer at Physics Discipline in April 2015. He was graduated with Bachelor of Science (B. Sc. Hons., 4 years integrated course) and Master of Science (M. S.) degrees from the Department of Physics, University of Dhaka. He achieved PhD degree through research from October 2019 to January 2024 under the supervision of Professor Oscar Cespedes at the University of Leeds (Condensed Matter Group, School of Physics and Astronomy) in the United Kingdom (UK)His research focuses broadly on Condensed Matter Physics including areas: Spintronics/Organic Spintronics, and Spin Photovoltaics.
