An Optimization of Gain-Sharing Based Parcel Distribution Through Hub Location and Routing

In reality, the transportation problem is often related to face the challenges for executing the ever-increasing need for better, cheaper and other responsive products and services which drives the industry towards growth and efficiency on both local and global scales. In the process of finding a transport scheme, the most important thing to be considered is to minimize total transportation cost and distance. This work proposed a perspective on the gain-sharing based parcel distribution through hub location and routing. An attempt has been made to design a network system by justifying with real world examples to find a transport scheme for providing parcels from hub to hub using gain-sharing concept.
