Dr. Protap Kumar Ghosh serves as an Associate Professor in the Business Administration Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh. He holds a PhD in Finance from the School of Business and Economics, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Research Methods and Skills from the Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht University, Netherlands, along with MBA and BBA degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Dr.
Ghosh has been teaching at Khulna University for several years, focusing on
areas such as financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis
and corporate finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
His research spans critical
areas such as financial governance, banking stability, non-performing loans,
and regulatory policy across diverse economic settings. He has published widely
in respected international journals, contributing valuable insights on topics
like governance of financial resilience, green banking practices, IFRS adoption, and financial inclusion. His
recent scholarly work delves into the intersection of country governance and
financial sector resilience, as well as corporate engagement with
climate-related financial disclosures. Through his teaching and research, Dr.
Ghosh plays a vital role in shaping contemporary thought on finance, banking, and sustainability in developing economies.
