The proposal aims to develop a gamified simulation platform to enhance entrepreneurial skills among youth in Bangladesh. The project focuses on empowering young people aged 15-35 by providing an interactive, engaging learning environment where they can develop key business skills like financial literacy, market analysis, decision-making, and leadership through a series of gamified modules. In partnership with Jukto Digital, a growing technological company, the project will deliver a user-friendly, culturally relevant platform tailored to the needs of Bangladeshi youth. The simulation will mirror real-world entrepreneurial tasks, allowing users to experience challenges such as ideation, market research, fundraising, and scaling a business. Each module will incorporate behavioural science and practical business scenarios to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
The research methodology combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches, assessing the impact of the simulation on participants’ entrepreneurial capacities through pre-and post-tests, along with focus group discussions and interviews. The findings will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of gamified learning in entrepreneurship education. Through its collaborative approach and the use of AI-driven features for real-time feedback, the platform seeks to create a sustainable, scalable solution that can have long-term impacts on youth empowerment and national economic growth.
This project will not only equip participants with entrepreneurial skills but also provide valuable data and frameworks for future educational initiatives and policymaking in Bangladesh. The gamified simulation project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering quality education (SDG 4) and promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG 8) through experiential learning in entrepreneurship. It also supports the “Three Zero” vision of zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero net carbon emissions by equipping Bangladeshi youth with the skills needed for self-employment and sustainable business practices, thereby addressing systemic challenges in youth unemployment and skill deficits.
