I have been working as a Professor since 2012 in the Business Administration Discipline at Khulna University in Bangladesh. I earned my Masters in 2006 with German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and PhD in 2010 at Center for Area Studies (CAS) of Leipzig University in Germany. I worked as a post-doctoral researcher during 2011–2014 and as a Visiting Professor during 2016–2018 at the same university. My research areas include the internationalization of SMEs, global value chain and SMEs upgrading, entrepreneurship and innovation management, and social entrepreneurship. I have published more than 30 papers in reputed national and international journals as well as reviewed many papers for different esteemed journals. I have also worked with 9 projects funded by national and international agencies like World Fish, the European Union, and others.
