Marginalized Poverty Alleviation and It’s Artistic Assessment: On Folk Art Of Bangladesh

Folk Arts are particularly relevant with the livelihood of the marginalized people. In the context of Bangladesh, Folk Art plays a pivotal role in the economic life of the marginalized people.  They are the creator of Folk Art. A huge amount of marginalized people who are though Fine Arts are not directly involved with their economically. The Folk artists are neglected and their works are undervalued both economically and artistically.  The role of folk art in poverty alleviation of the marginalized people should be addressed for expanding the economic horizon of Folk Art.
