Imaganative Transfiguration of Reality in the Fine Arts Photography: Perspective Bangladesh

The existence of art is around us since the beginning of the history of human civilization. The idea of art only changed through time and appeared again and again in a new shape. Though there are debates about art for about centuries, we understand that any visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination is called art. The art mostly tells stories through visual elements, stories about life and people, stories about things and places. This must be why art is considered the most versatile element for the visual expression of emotions. On the other hand, Photography is one of the modern incarnations of art. For being technologically facile, it is well known for its ability to visually communicate and express. It was always debated to be considered an art as it looks easier and effortless than an artwork. Back in the Modern Art era, photos played a supporting role as artists used photographs as their references. In the later time, slowly it's potential to share the same aesthetic along with a piece of artwork was being recognized. As a modern contribution, photography always had the individuality and aesthetics to project the right emotion and expression. This thesis focuses on the current perception of what makes photography art, what was previously told, what experts say, and, outside what ordinary people understand about the relationship between photography and art.
