He is a former journalist who worked with some renowned newspapers in Bangladesh. He completed his BSS (Honors) and MSS degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka.

This course is introduces students to the history, culture, geography, environment, and development of Bangladesh, Bangladesh's heritage, and cultural influences. Students will examine different interpretations of historical events. 

Public Relations

This course provides an introduction to the basic principles of public relations. Students will study the history and trends of public relations, principles, tools, techniques, practices, and ethics. It will introduce students to what public relations are and how they can have a career in the field.

Online Journalism

This course introduces students to reporting, writing, and creating multimedia journalism for the web. Students will learn about text, audio, video, and interactive graphics. They will also learn the basics of the tools that are needed for multimedia journalism practice. 

Online Journalism: News portal Making

This is a sessional course. Sessional provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in online news writing and making news portal. 

Thesis: Proposal Development

This course is designed to introduce students with the basic techniques of thesis/research designing. It also focuses on the application of both quantitative and qualitative approaches along with pertinent issues of research methods and applicability of various instruments of data for conducting a social research/thesis
