Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Discipline is one of the most demanding and leading departments in Khulna University (KU), which was established in 1997, for the first time in Bangladesh. Since then, ECE Discipline of Khulna University is highly reputed in home and abroad for their academic excellence and professional success. The vision of this discipline is to create world leading engineers and researchers in its arena with proper moral values.

ECE Discipline offers undergraduate (B.Sc. Engg. [ECE]) and postgraduate degrees (M.Sc. Engg. [ECE] and PhD). The undergraduate program is a 4-year degree and the master’s program has the duration of 1.5 years. We have talented faculties who acquired their postgraduate degrees and expertise from top ranked universities of different foreign countries like Australia, Canada, China, Italy, Japan, Korea, Thailand, UK and so on. As a result, our students have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience from highly competent and devoted faculty members. Our faculty members are dedicated for ensuring outstanding teaching-learning environment and state-of-the art knowledge for the students. The well-equipped classrooms, modern high-tech laboratories, and the seminar library with rich collections are the key attractions of ECE Discipline.

The curriculum of this Discipline is updated regularly to accommodate the latest trends and developments in different fields of electronics and communication engineering, which make our graduates to accept the emerging challenges in the research as well as in the job markets in home and abroad.
