I am working as an Assistant Professor of Development Studies at Khulna University. I usually teach courses on governance, development and policy in both undergraduate and graduate level. As the leading academician on Policy and Governance in Khulna University, I regularly publish articles evaluating the efficacy and performance of state and non state actors and policies/intervention strategies that either they formulate or they implement. My articles are published by globally reputed publishers like Routledge/Taylor and Francis, Dove Medical Press, Nature Research, Bridgewater State University and Polish Society of Family Medicine.
My latest published articles are on Trust in Government/Political Trust, Public Sector Innovation and State of Public Health Preparedness and Response - all of which are written in the context of COVID-19 and from the perspective of Bangladesh. To contribute to the Health policy, I, side by side, regularly publish on Public Health issues in collaboration across borders. I am contributing to social policy formulation as well. I have published an article on early marriage in Bangladesh. A glimpse of my published works can be found on the 'Publication' tab of this webpage. Currently, I am working on issues related to 'civil society', disability and access to health care services.
Apart from that, I have experience on preparing grant proposal for the donor agencies, conducting surveys/FGDs and writing evaluation reports by the NGOs for the funding agencies. Reach me at: [email protected]/ [email protected]
