• Welcome to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Discipline, Khulna University (KU). This is one of the finest disciplines in Bangladesh of its arena with the mark of its magnificent progress. Our vision is to build a strong research and teaching environment to create future computer scientists and engineers.

  Our Discipline was second of its kind to offer computer science/engineering education in Bangladesh. It started in 1991with undergraduate education. The first intake was only 20 students. As of this moment, the number is 40. Best students of Khulna University study in this Discipline. We have experienced faculty members who got their PhD from high ranked universities of Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Norway, Korea and Malaysia.

  A very friendly and congenial atmosphere exists for fostering a friendly and healthy teacher-student relationship. Both teachers and students spontaneously participate in different programs to make the Discipline a center for excellence. Research activities have earned fame of the Discipline at both home and aboard .A student wishing to achieve some recognition in extra-curricular or co-curricular activities also finds the helpful atmosphere.

  Our mission is to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education in both the theoretical and applied foundations of computer science and train students to effectively apply this education to solve real-world problems thus amplifying their potential for lifelong high-quality careers and give them a competitive advantage in the ever-changing and challenging global work environment of the 21st century.
