Asifur Rahman is a Lecturer
in the Chemistry Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh. His work
focuses on materials and environmental chemistry, particularly the development
of nanomaterials for pollution control and clean energy applications. He has
published several research papers in reputable international journals and has
presented his findings at both national and international conferences.
Before joining Khulna University, he worked
at East
West University (EWU), where he served as a Lecturer in the MPS
Department from February 2025. Prior to that, he also spent a
period at Uttara
University (UU), where as an additional role, he served as the advisor of the Environmental Club.
His recent research has centered on the
design of graphene-based metal oxide and doped ferrite nanocomposites with
promising applications in photocatalysis, wastewater treatment, and sustainable
energy conversion. Alongside his research, he continues to mentor students,
promote curiosity-driven learning, and encourage environmental awareness. Looking
ahead, Asifur Rahman aims to contribute to the advancement of green
technologies and sustainable solutions through collaborative and meaningful
scientific research.
