Objectives
To prepare tea using young leaves of S. apetala from different saline zones of the Sundarbans.
To compare the amount of total polyphenols and flavonoids in prepared teas of S. apetala leaves and Kazi & Kazi green tea sold in Bangladesh.
To compare the antioxidant activity of the prepared teas of S. apetala leaves and Kazi & Kazi green tea.
To know the neuro-pharmacological activity of the teas using elevated plus maze test.
