The the objectives of the proposed study are follows:
(i)
To develop functionalized chitosan nanocomposites i.e., CS-nanocellulose,
polylactic acid and nanoparticles such CS-MgO (chitosan/ magnesium oxide),
CS-MnO2 (chitosan/ manganese), CS-NiO (chitosan/nickel oxide) for industry
effluent treatment.
(ii)
To characterize developed chitosan nanocomposites in terms of their physical,
chemical and structural properties.
(iii)
To evaluate the developed functionalized chitosan nanocomposites in terms of
performance for water quality parameters of industrial effluents.
