The C-reactive
protein (CRP) is produced in the liver, and its concentration rises in response
to inflammation. Previous reports show the elevation of CRP levels in the
maternal blood during pregnancy. Unfortunately, there is insufficient/no
published data in perspective of Bangladesh. Thus, the current study was aimed to assess the status of CRP level in maternal
blood during pregnancy in Khulna city.
