Zabid Ahasan Tarafder is an architect and academic from Khulna, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture (2022) with distinction from the Architecture Discipline, Khulna University, where his academic & design performance earned him multiple Head List Awards. He served as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the State University of Bangladesh(2022-2025). Professionally, he has been involved with architectural consultancy firms and has also served as a consultant architect for the Bangladesh Army at Barishal Cadet College, contributing to several institutional design projects. His research interests center on informal markets, growth center development, and the socio-spatial dynamics of sub-urban settlements.
